Lydell Lawrence

Aloha, I’m Lydell Lawrence, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Hawaii and owner of Laie Point Counseling, LLC. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, addiction recovery, and life transitions. I currently provide services only to clients residing in Hawaii. Before becoming a counselor, I served 12 years in the U.S. Army with three combat tours as an infantry mortarman. This experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges of military service, PTSD, and reintegration into civilian life. My approach combines empathy with evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I create a supportive, respectful space where clients can heal, rediscover meaning, and build emotional resilience.
